Fundraising for the future.

I don't monetise this blog.
There is a simple reason for that, I don't feel the need to spam all of you with Ads and other pointless things that waste your time.

The way I intend to raise some money to support my future business plans are as follows:

1) Keep working my backside off in my office job until I have some savings

2) Take courses that enable me to provide more services and then sell these services

3) Crowdfund for a little extra help.

The third option is where you guys come in.

I am not going to tell you to go and donate, but if you could just check out the page, and give me a little feedback I would hugely appreciate it.
If you feel like giving anything (No pressure I know that money doesnt grow on trees, hence the funding project)

I appreciate everyone support in reading the blog so far and I hope that I can continue to provide posts that people find interesting and informative.

Getting the girls all tidied up, phase one!

Well this Sunday, whilst looking for ways to entertain myself  I just happened to look up at the girls in their paddock and realised that what with recent events and a lack of time they are both looking a little feral. Queue the grooming!!  I decided to tackle Thimble first as being the smaller of the two she wasn't going to take me so long. Here is the before picture, of Madam, looking like she has been running wild for a while instead of being the well groomed driving pony that she should be!  As you can see, the mane is mental and is not in a fit state to be arranged into neat little rosebuds when I decide to plait her up and go out looking pretty. Well after a lot of thinning, minimal pulling and some trimming, my little lady had been transformed! Currently, her mane is lying on the wrong side so next step will be to train it over onto the correct side. More walking, and an introduction to positive reinforcement!!

I'm a day behind on my posting, good news is that means I have been busy! Thimble was tacked up in harness again yesterday and went for a little walk. This time we went with my sister on her large ginger ninja as thimble has never been out with another horse whilst in harness before.  Safe to say she impressed me. Poor old Sid had little to no idea what the strange small creature in the blue harness was (He's only five himself!). But he decided that he liked his new pet and was quite happy for her to accompany him for some schooling out in one of the fields.  Thimble decided that exercise was much to much hard work in the sun so behaved almost impeccably.  Almost. Busy Busy, And the weather.... where has summer gone?!

Apologies for the lack of posts in the last day or so. I have been flat out at work and home trying to get organized.  The girls have moved paddocks, and are appreciating the extra grass, even if it is minimal. Thimble is busy getting fit, although we missed last night due to the simply horrific weather.  The girls both just came in and dried off so that I could put their lightweight rugs on them, still even coming through the paddock gate is good for Stella as she still finds it nerve-wracking to go through the smaller space. Saturday night consisted of a nice ride out on the trap with Thimble, who decided that she now is a scurry pony and was well up for some faster work. What made me smile was how much she seems to love being out and about, and the lack of naughty / over-reactive behavior. She really is one of those little ponies that thrives on work.
